COACH HESTER
Class Rules

  1. Be on time
  2. Be prepared
  3. Be respectful
  4. No gum (not me, this one comes from Mrs. Becker)

Have common sense. It’s time to transition from grade school, so along with the added freedom we give you comes added responsibility on your part. So, if you want to be treated like you are responsible, be responsible.

Assignments are due on the due date.

Have a positive attitude. We all have days when we would rather be anywhere else in the world, but sometimes we just have to suck it up and go on. Be mature about what’s going on. As long as it is not a common occurrence, it is understandable. I would rather you express to me that it’s “one of those days” and allow me to be aware of the situation. Don’t let a bad day spiral into a something that it doesn’t have to be.

Going to the restroom: GO BEFORE CLASS! I understand sometimes you may have to go during the class time, but don’t make it a habit!

We are encouraging the use of technology, but this does not allow you to be on your phone or iPad while I am talking. Again, use common sense.

We are in a very unique situation, and you will experience a lot of thing that you might not be used to in a school setting. So be flexible, be creative, and expect this year to be a lot of trial and error. We will do our very best to make sure that you receive a quality education but we will have to monitor and adjust. This is new for all of us.
